The Cottage Restaurant, located in Scone NSW, is housed in an old cottage nestled in the main street. The original cottage was built in 1860 and has lived through many incarnations. The interior of The Cottage has been transformed to provide several dining spaces, both inside and out, with an abundance of fireplaces and quiet dining nooks. AB&A worked with Dods & Zuccon Architects to keep true to the building’s heritage through the use of exposed brick walls and natural timbers, giving the space an earthy rural feel. A colour palette of greens and whites was used throughout The Cottage and provides a freshness both inside and out.
